Skagen Fiskerestaurant
As a guest at Skagen Harbour Hotel, we offer a unique experience at our restaurant located at Skagen Harbour, situated just 300 meters from the hotel. Furthermore, on arrival you will receive a voucher which gives you a 10% discount when you buy food and beverages at Skagen Fiskerestaurant.
The history of the Skagen Fish Restaurant
At Skagen Harbour on the top of Denmark you will find the legendary fish pack houses, designed by architect Thorvald Bindesbøll. Skagen Fiskerestaurant has been located here for almost 50 years. Thorvald Bindesbøll (1846-1908) made a decisive mark on Danish art, design and architecture. Bindesbøll also signed the well-known Hoflabel for Carlsberg in 1904. We have a view of Skagen Harbour on the first row, authentic with sand on the floors and freshly caught fish. Every summer we offer great music experiences. As the name suggests, fish is the central element of our menu – well not to mention fresh seafood, which is caught by the waters just outside our door.
Didde & Jesper C. Winter have operated the Skagen Fish Restaurant for almost 10 years. In March 2019, they bought the Skagen Harbour Hotel just to offer their guests ‘the whole package’. Guests from the hotel can enjoy the food in the restaurant, but the restaurant’s many regular guests also have the opportunity to enjoy the whole package of hotel and dinner with the same host couple.
